Saturday, June 27, 2015 - HDH auction tasting at Tru (Chicago, IL): A bit of a four-square well-made 2008 red wine. It hits all the checkboxes -- bright red fruits, a fair bit of acidity, and obviously unresolved tannins. This shows some oak on the palate as well. I've no complaints about the quality of the wine, but it doesn't speak to me at all.
