Saturday, March 28, 2015 - Stunning. I just love Bouchard more and more with every new bottle i taste. This is all about style, finesse, refinement and impeccable balance. nose is hauntingly saline with crisp green apple, citrus, dough, a hint of yest and a touch of exotic fruit which i dont usually get in the normal Chardonnay based bdb's. Palate is perfectly balanced with creamy mousse, more green apple, yellow fruit, wet slate minerality and a hint of green leaf. Totally envelopes your mouth with flavor. Smack down in its perfect drinking window now, but nothing to indicate it will not stay there for another 7 years minimum.
