Sunday, August 14, 2011 - Here I am stranded in this weak vintage with a killer wine. What to do? Sing its praises. Maturing and glossy, fairly purple hue, which has stained the cork half way through. Fading at brim in lovely beige tones. Lovely, fluid elegant palate. Late strawberry, chocolate pudding, cinnamon, bay leaf, roasted meat, sea shells. Not creamy, but elegant svelte, with a nice acid flourish. A food wine, paired with assorted raviolis and sage-based beurre blanc.. Fully integrated, with some grip. LOVELY!
