Saturday, December 22, 2012 - Great chalky, robust aromatics of dark berries, tomato vine, and bay leaf. The palate is similarly rustic, boasting ripe, fresh dark cherries over sundried tomato and dried green herbs. Firm tannins characterize the finish, later adding cedar and hints of aged tobacco. Though this should continue to integrate over time, its inherent rusticity adds to the appeal. R&M 88+
