Ripe red and black berries on nose and palate with good concentration and enticing spice, but this seems slightly muddy. I can not say if it is maturing on the early side or perhaps suffering from some heat damage. I would err on the side of this being a bottle problem. While this was good, I'd consider this around 89 points tonight, less than I would have expected from this producer in this vintage.
