90 Points

Wednesday, December 23, 2015 - Deep dark center, red rim with some signs of age.
Sweet cassis and raspberries, a little floral, wine gums (in a good way), black cherry yoghurt, hint of sandalwood.
Smooth, blackcurrant and raspberries, modest tannin and acidity, oak is present but not overwhelming, touch of greenness, good length.
Better and more classically constructed than expected (this note was from a day after opening). Drinking well now, but will last a few more years with no problem.
