93 Points

Monday, April 9, 2012 - This really is an excellent bargain. Dark ruby, good viscosity. Deep, brooding, dark purple fruit wrapped in glorious oak aromas fill the nose. Very fine young Bordeaux nose, very promising. Silky but full in the mouth, loads of fruit and good grip, this just fills every corner with lovely young fruit.Takes awhile to unfold on the palate, and when it does, it is lovely if young and primary. Still tannic, this wine has quite a future although for me, it is still marvelous right now and would be great with a thick, juicy rare steak. A winner all around. 4-13-17-9: 93/100.
