Tuesday, May 10, 2011 - After a half hour or so, this comes together to reveal a really attractive food-friendly white wine. Nose of lime, tropical fruit, and a good mineral stroke. The palate is racy, with green apple, a bit of green mango, pineapple, and bracing minerality, along with a faint sesame or nutty note. Overall a sensational effort for the price, and the antithesis of what I expected from a Napa wine. Great value here...feel no hesitation in doubling down on future vintages. Could become a top-ranking Spring wine for me.
