90 Points

Friday, July 11, 2014 - Half bottle. Cedar, black cherries, milk chocolate, delicately sweet, fresh, good tannic grip, relatively light weight, true to type 1997, good length. Not a great VP, but it delivers in a relatively modest way.

I have a single full bottle, do you think this is at or near its peak now, or do you think this would benefit from a few more years of patience?

It probably still has enough tannins to allow it to go on for a while, but I don't think it will improve. So my advice would be to drink this sooner rather than later; I at least have finished mine.
