Sunday, June 21, 2015 - Outstanding. Opened impromptu after the insane fireworks display against the Bay Bridge this evening (apparently someone played basketball well or something), Sara and I let patiently sit for an hour, occasionally taking a whiff to confirm a lovely deep and floral nose that was catching updrafts in the glass. I am terrible with locating specific fruits in a wine, so apologies for just saying this was smooth and lovely and the mouthfeel was bold. The taste lasted a good 30 seconds, maybe more, and at moments it was like North African spices. Not much in the way of bracing tannins, which really encourages another taste. Fantastic. My first EMH. So very very very not my last.
