Saturday, February 12, 2011 - Saturday Tasting Group (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): Big berry driven wine showing massive extraction and legendary finesse driven leather, graphite and cigar box.
Behemoth of a nose. Lots of licorice with some enjoyable aromatic spicy heat.
Big firm young tannins. Exotic, delicate and feminine overall. Flowers. Great length on the finish.
Awesome wine. So much structure and backbone but tasting so damn good right now.
