Wednesday, September 24, 2014 - open 1 hour, nose is the best part, big cherry, leather and some hint of cinnamon, mouth starts on the lean side and fills up but the acid keeps it pretty tart. 55% petite verdot and that explains the nose, some tannins but it is a ripe year and this does not drink ripe. I have half a bottle for tomorrow to see what it does. From the nose, I would buy a case, from the mouth, I am going to pass.
