Sunday, October 14, 2012 - Consistent with prior review - Coppery onion skin color. Great aromatics with a slightly oxidative aromas of butterscotch, almond, and spice. On the palate silky smooth, fresh, complex and balanced. Very dry with tart red berry, blood orange, and touch of vanillin flavors. Long finish. This is definitely a food wine. I enjoyed this tremendously with a spicy chicken/seafood gumbo. I last had a bottle over a year ago, and it's still fresh! Great rose!
