Tuesday, May 26, 2015 - What a great gamble buying this at auction turned out to be. This was singing and hitting all the right notes for a mature Cali cab. Some brownness to the ruby wine with a touch of bricking. Black cherry fruit in a silky, wonderfully complex wine. Notes of cloves, vanilla, tobacco, leather, mocha on the expressive nose and palate.Medium finish. Won't get better and may be slightly past peak but an awesome experience.
