Sunday, December 21, 2014 - Dark ruby. Black cherry, anise, sweet spices on the nose, with a bit of underlying oak. Bright jammy fruit on the palate, a hint of cola, brine cured olives, some alcohol heat at the back, long acid finish. A dark and seductive wine. 50+17+15+7. [Interesting, it's not often that I have a rating so out of whack with the consensus.]
