Monday, January 12, 2015 - EWS -- Cote Rotie Tasting: Deep, dark and aromatic, more masculine and serious than sexy d'Ampuis. Layers of flavors reveal coffee, roasted nuts, cherry, chocolate, swirled smoke. Not in love with the nose -- hint of cooked fruit. Believe this to be 100% syrah. Excellent, but by no means a perfect. Needs time.
