Thursday, June 21, 2012 - Still deep garnet in color. Nose seems to indicate strong alcohol but not when you tasted it. The alcohol level is only 13%. Notes of cedar and cherry. Toasty oak at the end. Tannins were rather sweet for St. Julian. Still youthful but very well balance and is ready for consumption but I would prefer to put it way for another 2 to 3 years. But it is going to be difficult to keep my hands away from this beauty. 95 pts.
