Moving past its slightly shut-down phase and into young maturity, where acidity is well-integrated with general body, minerality, and iodine flavors, but depth and pungency aren't yet fully on display. The texture is smooth, seamless, and pleasing. A fine wine which may show more overt complexity in another year or three, but is a pleasure to drink now with a good meal.
