Tuesday, September 25, 2012 - 375ml bottle. Decent nose with hints of strong alcohol level. Notes of dark cherry, black berry with hints of oak. Medium-bodied with dry tannins. Long and slightly dry finish. A bit of heat at the end with 14.5% alcohol. Fresh acidity with decent structure and complexity but high alcohol level is a concern. Still plenty of dry tannins on 2nd day, this will require long term cellaring. Overall is not as balance as I have hoped for. 91-93 pts.
