Tuesday, August 19, 2014 - Bordeaux Star Performers Tasting (8 Danks street, Sydney): from Magnum. Medium plus intensity aromas of black currant, herbaceous notes - mint, slight leather, cedar and a touch of farmyard funk…very Bordeaux but a bit forward on the nose. In the mouth flavours of coffee, blackcurrant, mint, firm but fine grained tannin. Rather lovely.
