Sunday, July 26, 2015 - My last of 45 bottles over the past 4 years or so, and it may well be the absolute best. Served with seasoned & charcoal grilled tri-tip steak, mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. The smoky flavor of the wine really came out against the smoky flavor that the charcoal grill imparted to the meat. The fruit in the wine plays a supporting role to the earth and smoke, but it's still very lively. I wish there was some left so I could buy more!

7/27/2015 8:18:00 AM - I agree this is far from past prime. One of the best buys I have done. Slow on the draw and missed the last BD offer. I bought multiple cases and shared with friends, a few left.
