Friday, December 18, 2015 - Slight aromas of calla lilies right from the bottle. The color is a deep golden hue which is beginning to turn yellow-orange. At first I thought the wine was past its prime. After nearly 2 hours the aroma & color began to both mellow revealing a richness & depth of what once was a great Chardonnay. Significant oak is left on the palette with a syrupy rich mouth feel.
