Monday, February 14, 2011 - Everything about this wine suggested it should be much younger. Bright deep red in colour, very forward nose of raspberry, maybe blackberry with just a hint of leather and wood. The palate is nicely balanced, good acidity and tannins still lurking in the background, Good finish. Great food wine. Can easily go another five years, likely longer.
