Wednesday, March 13, 2013 - Intense nose of cardamom infused black raspberries with some pure red currant. Palate shows the same black/red fruits wot a slightly elevated acidity. Eight months have been very kind to this one. Its has some nice lushness and sense of presence. Tannins are cmplicated and intense. Finish is long. While is is not in my top group of Materiums (a bit hi-toned), I enjoyed it nonetheless with my son on his arrival from school for the last half of the week. It lasted about 1 hour.
