Tuesday, April 3, 2012 - A bit of sulfur on opening that blew off quickly. Initially, fairly ripe and rich, with a honeyed tropical fruit palate and the acidity a bit overwhelmed. With a couple hours of air, peach, orange, and honeysuckle aromas developed and the palate developed more cut and precision as the minerally acidity came to life. Long, honeyed apple finish. A great wine that has a long life ahead, but hasn't shut down quite yet.
