Saturday, June 27, 2015 - Transparent garnet color of medium depth.
Leathery nose with savoury notes. Not necessarily typical of the xinomavro grape.
Nice flavorful palate with fluid texture, ripe unobtrusive tannins, refreshing acidity and good finish.
A very good wine, quite mature but far from declining any time soon.
I think I could not guess it as a xinomavro though. Slightly rustic in style like a mix between a traditional Rioja and a Barolo.
