Friday, September 20, 2013 - Black cherry and smoke on the nose. Full bodied, but very smooth and round after being open for an hour and a half. Black cherry and raspberry note on the mid-palette, finishing with a hint of red fruit. Good, but not great complexity. Still has very solid fruit quality five years in. Has the structure to improve over the next year of two. A very solid value and a nice wine.
