95 Points

Sunday, March 15, 2009 - Despite a low fill and palish color, perfectly sound and still (barely) at peak. From tasting this alongside such classics as 1962 and 1971 La Tache, I know
it's not really a 95-point wine. But tonight, drunk on its own with a rack of Colorado lamb, this seems as good as Burgundy can get.
More essences fused in that nose than I can possibly isolate; classic Vosne spice blossoming on the palate; great length on the finish.
Unless in magnum perfectly cellared, drink now.
