Monday, June 4, 2012 - Colour: medium plus intensity, slow thick legs, Ruby
Nose: medium intensity, clean, developing. Very slight farmyard, cedar, concentrated black fruit - currants - slight mint, pencil shaving and graphite. hints of chocolate
Mouth: medium plus acid, medium fine and talcy tannin, medium plus body, medium flavour intensity, Dry. Savoury black currant and cherry, slight burnt quality, cedar, astringent and bitter on the medium plus length finish that is slightly warm. There are hints of plain chocolate and sweet spice as well.
