Powerful nose of black cherry and cassis with mild amount of oak. Small wiff of barnyard that blew off in the decanter.

Palate was smiliar to the nose with medium body, good acid, gripping drying tannins that did subside while in the decanter with a medium finish.

IMO one could hold for 5 more years and let some of the secondary characterisitcs bloom since this wine is still quite primary.

Very enjoyable bottle.
