Monday, October 27, 2014 - Dark purple, almost black in color turning violet at the rim. Notes of dark chocolate, espresso, dark berries, and Pauillac earth on the nose. The palate is full-bodied, structured, voluptuous and velvety. Flavors of dark cherry, cacao, blackberry, cola, espresso, vanilla, smoke and graphite form the core. This is very attractive, balanced, and a bit on the fruity side that ends with a long, heightened finish with hints of bay leaf and meat. Fantastic! Drink now until 2029. 94+
