The palate wasn't quite as prominent and while it had all the usual graphite, dark berries, tobacco and cedar flavours, they felt somewhat muted and not as fresh as the perfume. Perhaps in a bit of a dumb spot at the moment. Still a thoroughly enjoyable wine from a "classic" vintage that I think will get better with a bit more time to develop deeper secondary flavours.
