Thursday, March 29, 2012 - Pale yellow; fresh and elegant nose of berries and lees; with some air, a strawberry shortcake note emerges. On the palate, it is powerful, but precise and balanced, with notes of crisp apples, toast and fruit cup. Moist pound cake emerges into a long, chalky finish. Really delicious.
