Friday, July 17, 2015 - Drinking very well. Aromatic nose of black fruit, spice, and a little coal. Palate is mostly smooth with some coarse tannins in the background, but loaded with plush dark fruits and a little funk, charcoal/ash flavor I associate with St Estephe. Moderate length finish. In it's drinking window for sure, at least from 375ml. Better than recent '01.
