Tasted non blind at a wine tasting.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of leather, a hint of smoke, berries and cherries. Flavors of berries, cherries and a bit of currants on the finish. Tangy acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium body. Drink over the short term. Might benefit from a little decant before serving.
