Monday, October 5, 2009 - I bought a couple bottles at a recent auction out of curiosity – and frankly this bottle was a pleasant surprise. I decanted for ~ 1 hour and served w/ grilled NY strip steak. The nose was muted with only hints of dark berries. Black cherries stuck out, but there was a sense of fading as the evening went on. A nice experience for aged Bordeaux.
