Thursday, December 20, 2012 - Typicity. Translucent rose to violet color. Fast legs. Nose of bright fruit (straw and raspberry, maybe some cherry), not much up front, grows brighter and tarter in the mid to a tart finish of bright fruits and medium tannins. Stays with the straw/raspberry/some cherry from nose to finish. Crazy at first, but settled down after a half hour or so. Lots of acidity for a Cali Pinot. Pleasant to drink, but would be overwhelmed by a lot of foods. Solid player in the $30-$40 Cali pinot range. Seems to be showing well now. Not sure that more age would improve it.
