2008 Four Vines Peasant

Community Tasting Note

92 Points

Sunday, May 5, 2013 - Dark purple color. Incredibly expressive nose of black cherry, plum, spice, floral notes, and tobacco. The palate is packed with ripe black cherry, plum, earth, and spice. Structurally, this medium-bodied wine has balanced acidity and rounded tannins. The finish is long and packed with great fruit. Overall, this is a hedonistic wine that showcases ripe fruit but does not over reach, even at 15.2% alcohol.
