Monday, December 3, 2012 - WSET Level 2 Class 7 (BCIT Downtown Campus, Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind. Clear, deep ruby. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with constantly changing aromas of dark currant, mint, tobacco, chocolate and sandalwood. Palate is dry, medium+ acid, medium+ tannins, medium+ body, with flavours of black currant, blackberry, vanilla, cedar, spice and earth. Finish is medium+. Very good quality, highly engaging Cab.
