More earthy on the palate, with plush sweet cherry and rasberry flavors on the attack, balanced with some black pepper and tight acidity. Tastes somewhat pinched on the mid-palate and especially on the finish-- is it the high-ish acidity overwhelming the fruit? Nevertheless, this is a bright, lively Pinot that I enjoyed with food.
