Sunday, July 8, 2012 - Enjoyed over 4 hours... ready to go... aromas and flavors seem to be integrating... nuances of smoke, savory dill pickle, herbs, sarsaparilla root, and ripe, red fruit, combine to create an interesting California Pinot... Medium bodied, with driving acidity... medium-plus finish... a good food wine... I enjoyed it with a soy/ginger/garlic/onion/toasted sesame oil/olive oil marinated Albacore Tuna steak... paired nicely. I imagine it will drink well for a few more years, though it is drinking well now, and didn't show dramatic development/change from start to finish; though I would recommend a 2 hour decant. I agree with 2010 Wine Library review. Good juice. Enjoy now.
