Does not like this wine:

87 Points

Friday, November 15, 2013 - This has sat in the decanter for over 2 hours. The nose is starting to pick up, but as some others have commented the fruit smells seem really artificial, even though I know this isn't possible from making wine. However they seem candied on the mouth, sweet tannins that are totally our of synch wit the acids in the wine. I'm going to re-bottle and refrigerate and check tomorrow. Hopefully I can change this from a negative, of sorts review. My cork had really minute wine crystals. Nothing to worry about yet as tomorrow will have a better picture of this wine. Right now its very disjointed. I would hold this wine for sure, at this point. 81-82 day one. Day two things get back together a bit. Tannins and acid are integrated, but really the predominate fruit was red currant/cranberry and almost flawed in tasting, "again artificial." Still drinkable, but I'll never invest in Tapestry again. Flora Springs much better, and hit up Italy and get Tenuta San Guido Guildabert or Ornellaia La Serre Nuove. Very disappointed.
