Wednesday, July 2, 2008 - Popped and poured. Nose of earth, blueberry and tar, following to the palate. Has that distinctive Stolpman earthiness that can be overpowering, but, as with the Syrah, is VERY nice here. For sub-$20, this is a killer wine. Must buy more, as Stolpman has discontinued this cuvee. Outstanding - 91 points.
