Tuesday, April 2, 2013 - This is not your grandmother's merlot. Sorry, just really surprised how good and how cabernet tasting this wine is. Deep garnet/purple. Nose of red fruits, a little tobacco and a little earth. Palate consists of medium tannins, fresh red and blue fruits and just the right amount of acid. Medium finish. Goes really well with food, from pasta, pizza to rib roast.
