Thursday, August 21, 2014 - Wow. This was drinking perfectly last night. Stood up to, or surpassed a '96 Leroy Richebourg served alongside. Full flavor of both black and red fruits, with plenty of earth and oak, a peppery underside and a great finish. Fantastic for the finish and (if the word can be used at this price point) an actual value in the pantheon of the very best burgundies. A surprise for this vintage. Drink right now, or over the next few years and you'll be greatly rewarded.
