Saturday, February 15, 2014 - PnP, served blind. Cranberry core faded to a silvery rim. Aromas of lanolin, cedar, white floral, dried strawberry, leather, dust. Warms up to reveal a medium body, with cranberry tang, cherry, and leather dominating. The concentration of fruit is slow to come, and when it does, it's broad and elegant. At this point, the nose also shifts away from fruit and floral to more of a stone cellar. Superb tension, high acids (not appreciated by all at the table), with considerable persistence. I wish I had a case of magnums. Give this at least 30 minutes in decanter and let it warm slightly from cellar temp. 12,5% abv, highly recommended; a long future for $25 rosé
