Saturday, February 13, 2016 - Medium light-garnet-red. Garrigue and pepper beef jerky dominate the nose, with allspice, dried cherry. On arrival, low tannin and medium acidity. A touch of blood in the mouth (iron ?), polite and mellow - even thin - with the cherries and jerky again. Finishes very vividly aromatically, big garrigue and violets and meat heaving from the empty glass. Smells better than it drinks. Bottle #2 of two.
