Thursday, January 30, 2014 - Northern Rhone Dinner Part 3 - Cornas (Vancouver, BC): This came flying out of the gates with a classic Northern Rhone nose of black fruits and savory elements. The fruit profile on the palate was sweeter than the '96 and was a bit more refined and mature. A beautiful wine that's at peak now, but a notch or two below the fantastic '96. Excellent.
