Saturday, December 24, 2011 - Few notes, as drank at a family dinner. Recall the wine having not much nose. Limited and nicely integrated tannins, medium light body, nice balance. Interest but not much complexity. Very drinkable now, but not much againg potential as it does not have much "stuffing" (structure or backbone). Not a tannic or forceful Barolo. Rather, more elegance and finesse. Quite nice. Of course, it would be out shone by Gaja's other offerings once aged. Good QPR at $65.
