Saturday, April 21, 2012 - (11%) The Incline here is named after the slope of the vineyards in the Mosel which I've witnessed firsthand (and I tasted this one in Incline Village on my recent vacation to Lake Tahoe to boot). Made by Johannes Selbach to "simply outshine" all Rieslings near its price point and it does a good job of it. Off dry (just the slightest hint of, pleasant, sweetness), crisp, clean and fruity (green apple/pear) here with a firm acidity that lingers nicely with a touch if mineral saltiness. Simple, fresh and delicious and ready to pair with virtually anything including a sunny day on the patio. I had with tacos and it was delicious! For less than $10 this one is very nice. Wonder how this one might age. I’ll be looking for more…

Wine Geek Notes: Imported by Skurnik; aged in stainless steel; twist off
